Welcome to Our Monthly Journey!

Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world – Nelson Mandela

What an extraordinary month May has been! As we believe in Nelson Mandela’s powerful words, we’re committed to empowering every child who walks through our doors to become a changemaker. This month has been filled with celebrations, learning adventures, and memorable moments that showcase the vibrant spirit of our school.

From honouring great personalities to hands-on activities that sparked curiosity, our students have experienced education in its most engaging form.

🛠️ International Labour Day – 1st May

We celebrated International Labour Day to honour all the hardworking people who make our world run smoothly. Our teachers talked with students about how important every job is – from the farmers who grow our food to the people who build our homes.

What the students learned:

  • Every type of work deserves respect
  • Hard work has dignity and value
  • How different workers help our community

It was a great way to help our kids appreciate the people around them who work so hard every day!

 Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti

🎨 Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti – 7th May

The kids discovered the amazing life of Rabindranath Tagore, the talented poet who wrote our national anthem! They learned about his contributions to India’s culture and history.

What made it special:

  • Understanding Tagore’s role in Indian culture
  • Discovering how one person can contribute so much to a country
  • Our students were amazed to learn that the same person who gave them their national anthem was also a great poet, writer, and thinker!

🎈 Junior Activities Day – 16th May

Our younger students had an action-packed day with two fun learning activities:

🔤 Word Formation Activity

This activity helped our junior students get better at building vocabulary and making sentences. They worked with letters and words, learning how to put them together in new ways.

The fun part: Watching little ones get excited when they successfully made a new word!

🧠 Mind Game Activity

Students played a quick-thinking game where the teacher called out letters, and they had to find them on a chart as fast as they could. This helped them recognise letters better and respond quickly.

💐 Mother’s Day – 17th May

We celebrated Mother’s Day during our Parent-Teacher Meeting, making it extra special. Students had prepared beautiful handmade greeting cards for their mothers.

The heartwarming moment: watching students proudly present their handmade cards to their mothers during the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM). It was a simple but touching way to honour mothers and strengthen the bond between families and our school.
